A45 Lennetalbrücke – complete closure of Dolomitstraße in Hagen

Hagen (straßen.nrw). In connection with the construction of the Lennetal Bridge on the A45, the Dolomite road in Hagen will have to be completely closed for an estimated 8 months.
The superstructures of the Lennetal Bridge are normally constructed from both abutments (northeast and southeast cellars) using the incremental launching method. From both basements, the "normal" steel boxes are pushed in "shots" into the planned end position and the "lower traffic" is usually not disturbed.
In the area of the Lenne, the superstructure must be particularly curved (haunched) for structural reasons due to the large span (approx. 120 m) (see pictures in appendix). Therefore, the incremental launching method cannot be used for this area.
This bridge area must be mounted, locked and welded on load-bearing towers.
Due to the extensive lifting, assembly and steel construction work, with components of up to 100 tons, a complete closure of the Dolomite road is absolutely necessary for all road users for safety reasons.
Straßen NRW coordinated the diversion concept in advance with the city of Hagen, the Hagen fire brigade and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
duration of the full lockout
The complete closure of the Dolomitstraße will be established on 08.01.2019. This complete closure will probably be necessary for 8 to 9 months based on the experience of the last installation.

The detour runs via Industriestr. - Villigster Str. - Verbandsstr. - Elseyer Str. - Esserstr. - Iserlohner Str. - Stennertstr. and Hohenlimburger Str. to Hammacher Straße.
The same detour route via the Hohenlimburg district is signposted in the opposite direction.
From the crossing area Dolomitstr./Industriestr./Buschmühlenstr the diversion is routed via Industriestr., Sauerlandstr., Sudfeldstr. to Dolomitstraße.
bus traffic
The Hagen tram line 522 is also affected. The bus is diverted via Berchumer Straße, Sauerlandstraße and Industriestraße. The bus stops at Dolomitstraße (DHL Zentrum and Gründelbusch) and Arcadeon at Sudfeldstraße are not served.
Bikers
For cyclists there is a separate diversion route via Sudfeldstraße/ Wehbergstraße and Rohrstraße to Industriestraße (see appendix for details).
Pedestrian guidance
Pedestrians are guided parallel to the Lenne via a secured emergency pedestrian walkway outside the danger zone.
