Successful continuation of the strategic realignment of A&B

After more than 35 years, we have decided to transfer the essential parts of Roland Stahl GmbH into the hands of Alois Schmitt GmbH Co. KG with effect from January 1, 2022. Roland Stahl will continue to operate as the Bremen branch of Eisen Schmitt. The entire workforce of the Bremen steel trade will be taken over and all business relations will continue unchanged. Of course, A&B will continue to be available as a supplier to the Bremen colleagues.

For A&B, this is a further building block in the strategic realignment of the company. "After the sale of Roland Stahl and the Heine & Bleck shares, we are putting our focus back on what we have been doing successfully for generations - bright steel production," says Managing Director Carsten Bleck, explaining the decision after the contract was signed in Karlsruhe.
